About the Opportunity
Hip Pocket Workwear & Safety is a national network of 60+ locally owned stores, built on more than 30 years as a workwear and safety brand.
As a Franchise Partner, you will build a locally owned business combining retail sales with B2B trade opportunities. Your customers can range from individual workers shopping in-store to local businesses looking for workwear, footwear, PPE and safety equipment, uniforms and branding solutions for their teams.
The model is diversified by design. Rather than relying on retail alone, Franchise Partners have the opportunity to develop long-term relationships with businesses across industries including trade and construction, manufacturing, mining, healthcare, hospitality, agriculture, logistics and government.
You will also be able to offer supporting services such as garment decoration and uniform programs, giving customers more reasons to work with you across their ongoing workwear and safety needs.
You are not starting from scratch. You will join an established national network with supplier relationships, buying strength, business systems, marketing support, training and a structured store format behind you. The Hip Pocket system has been tested and refined over decades, while still giving Franchise Partners the flexibility to respond to their local market.

Marketing support
Hip Pocket supports Franchise Partners with national brand activity, ready-to-use marketing assets, local campaign tools and strategies to help build retail traffic and develop local business accounts. You will have access to professionally developed campaigns, digital marketing tools and marketing support that gives your store capability and scale that would be difficult to build independently.
Training provided
Franchise Partners complete a structured induction covering the systems, products and practical knowledge needed to operate a Hip Pocket store. Ongoing support is provided by a dedicated Franchise Support Manager, with further development through supplier training, webinars, conferences and other learning opportunities across the network.
You will also have access to established business systems and tools designed to make the operation easier to manage and scale.
Skills
We are looking for motivated people with good communication skills who enjoy building relationships with customers and businesses. Experience in sales, retail, trades or business is beneficial, but not essential.
More important is a willingness to learn, work within an established franchise system and actively build your local market. You will need a hands-on approach, commercial awareness and the drive to develop both retail sales and B2B relationships. Leadership and team management skills will also be valuable as your business grows.
