Who will I be talking to?

Scott has owned the Master Franchise for Hip Pocket Workwear and Safety since 2017.  With over thirty years in the Workwear and Safety industry Scott has the market knowledge and expertise to support you.  

In looking to expand the group, potential franchisees will first be in contact with Scott. Talking to Scott, means you are talking to somebody who has been hands on in the business, understands the journey and knows what it takes to run successful stores.

Do I need any qualifications or previous experience in the industry?

Previous business experience is a benefit, but it doesn’t matter what industry it was in. We provide comprehensive training and support.

How much money will I need to raise to start a Hip pocket workwear & safety franchise?

This varies according to the location, quality and size of the premises.  As a guideline, the total required to cover franchise fee, stock, fit out, working capital, etc is around $350,000 to $500,000.
Should both parties be interested in taking things further, detailed forecasts will be produced for your particular circumstances.

Is all stock purchased through Hip Pocket Workwear & Safety?

No. As a Franchise owner we provide you with access to preferential trading terms with leading strategic brands in the market. The stock for your business is then geared towards your customer base and location.

Am I able to own multiple stores?

Absolutely. Once you’ve got one successful store it makes sense to consider the possibility of expanding your reach by adding another store (or more).

Once I sign up, how long is the induction course?

The induction course is held over two weeks. You’ll have a dedicated training manager by your side to walk you through the workflow & systems of a working store. You’ll have hands on experience as well as time with Scott & other in-store specialists.
Our implementation team are with you to assist in the set-up of your new store and on the ground in your first weeks to ensure your store opening is a success.

How many days per week does the business operate?

We don’t stipulate with rigid rules around this. Most stores open Monday to Friday and half a day on Saturday. Some locations in high retail traffic areas choose to open 7 days per week.
