THE FRANCHISEE APPROVAL PROCESS

Battery World is always on the lookout for the best Franchise Partners, the next local Battery Expert to join our network. We are very serious about recruiting the “best” Franchise Partner who enjoy sharing their expert knowledge of all things batteries to customers to power their passion.

The approval process is designed to ensure each franchise applicant and franchisor both mutually agree to enter into a partnership (signing of a franchise agreement).

  • Stage 1: Enquiry 
    • Discussion with Battery World Australia 
    • Application submitted
    • Confidentiality Deed reviewed and signed

 

  • Stage 2: Due Diligence
    • Commence research on your preferred opportunity 
    • On-going correspondence and meetings to aid in research
    • Deposit placed on new store or agreement to terms in a store sale 

 

  • Stage 3: Business Planning and Approval 
    • Candidate submits business plan, cashflow and other requested documentation 
    • Formal meeting held with General Manager to discuss candidacy 
    • Approval position determined by Battery World Australia 

 

  • Stage 4: Application Finalised 
    • Commence the process of formal disclosure and executing the franchise agreement and other required documentation 
    • Enrol in the next available training induction 
    • Site search for suitable store location 

 

  • Stage 5: Training and Store Opening 
    • Candidate completes 6 weeks of training 
      • 2 weeks induction with the Battery World Australia Support Team 
      • 4 week training in-store
    • Commencement of trade 
      • New Store 
        • Store build is finalised 
        • Trade commences – store opening
      • Existing Store purchase 
        • Post training will be the preparation of items towards settlement 
        • Settlement occurs with purchaser commencing trade in the existing store 
    • Post commencement support provided by the Battery World Australia Operations team as you start your new journey with Battery World.
