You’ve Been Running Someone Else’s Venue Long Enough
You can run a venue in your sleep. You’ve carried the roster, managed the numbers, built the team and handled the rush. Now you’re ready for the next step: building something of your own.
Mad Mex’s Superstar Program is a structured 12-month pathway designed to help experienced hospitality operators build towards franchise ownership.
Your pathway:
Months 1–3: Learn Mad Mex systems, menu and standards through hands-on, paid training at manager level.
Months 4–8: Step into restaurant leadership with P&L accountability and support from the Mad Mex team.
Months 9–12: Build your franchise readiness through business planning, site selection, funding and finance structuring, and the franchise approval process.
We’re looking for experienced hospitality operators who know how to lead from the front, build great teams and deliver genuine hospitality — and who are hungry for more than another management title.

Marketing support
You won’t be building your business alone. As you progress towards franchise ownership, you’ll have the support of the Mad Mex team across marketing, local area marketing and brand campaigns, with established tools and resources to help you connect with your local community and grow your restaurant.
Training provided
You’ll receive structured, hands-on training throughout the Superstar Program. You’ll learn Mad Mex systems, operations, food and brand standards before progressing to running a restaurant with P&L accountability. As you move towards franchise readiness, you’ll also be supported through business planning, site selection, funding and the franchise approval process.
Skills
We’re looking for an experienced hospitality operator with 3+ years in a leadership role across QSR, restaurants, cafés, pubs or bars. You should be confident leading and retaining teams, managing day-to-day operations and understanding P&L, labour, COGS and wastage. Most importantly, you’re hands-on, commercially minded, passionate about hospitality and ready to build towards business ownership.
