This is an exciting opportunity to establish new Burger Urge venues across multiple high-profile locations in Canberra, with the right Franchise Partners to lead each site from day one and build strong, sustainable local businesses. These are greenfield opportunities suited to owner-operators ready to launch, lead, and grow with the support of proven systems and a recognised national brand.
The proposed sites are located across key Canberra precincts, offering excellent visibility, strong foot traffic, and proximity to major employment hubs, retail centres, and residential catchments. Each location provides a solid platform for consistent weekday and weekend trade, driven by a strong office workforce, families, and students.
Canberra is one of Australia’s most stable and resilient markets, underpinned by government, defence, education, healthcare, and professional services. With high household incomes, population growth, and a strong dining culture, the ACT offers reliable demand and long-term growth potential.
These opportunities are ideally suited to hands-on Franchise Partners, including those seeking multi-site growth. With comprehensive training, ongoing operational support, and the backing of a growing national network, this is a chance to establish Burger Urge as a destination brand across Canberra and build a scalable business portfolio.
Marketing contributions received from all Franchise Partners are used to fund national brand building and promotional campaigns. This covers brand marketing, local area marketing support, point of purchase materials, integrated marketing campaigns, public and media relations and new product innovation. Burger Urge provides its Franchise Partners the opportunity to apply their marketing contributions for Local Area Marketing initiatives such as sport club sponsorships, out of home advertisements and targeted digital offers.
Prior to settlement, Franchise Partners complete our comprehensive 8-week Management Training Program. This program is designed to prepare partners for ownership and covers professionally developed systems and procedures across operations, food safety, people management, financial control, compliance, and local marketing. It ensures each Franchise Partner has the skills, knowledge, and confidence required to operate a successful Burger Urge business from day one.
Previous food industry experience is not essential. What is critical is a full-time commitment to actively lead and operate your Burger Urge business. Franchise Partners are expected to be hands-on and accountable. Our operations team provides structured, ongoing training, coaching, and performance support for Franchise Partners, managers, and staff, reinforcing operational standards, financial discipline, compliance, and continuous improvement across the business.
