5 years
The store was founded in the 1980s as Book City under the direction of David Quail who then sold it to Birchip-born school teacher John Bond in the mid 1990s. John continued his business under the same name until 2010 when it was taken on by the Collins franchise and became Collins Booksellers Mildura. On 30 October 2020, locally born Donata Carrazza bought the business, seeing an excellent opportunity to combine her love of literature and her work with the Mildura Writers Festival in to the new venture.
