Diggerland

Diggerland is an indoor construction playground where children aged six months to seven years dig, build, ride and create adventures of their own.

Our connected Dig, Build and Ride zones bring together real sand, mini construction machinery, oversized blocks and ride-on vehicles. Children take an active role in exploring, solving problems and creating their own construction stories, with new challenges as they grow.

We created Diggerland to give young children a hands-on environment where they can explore, solve problems and build confidence through purposeful play. Our founder, Shalakha Verma, brought 15 years of experience building technology products. She applied the user-centred design and systems thinking behind successful digital products to develop Diggerland as a cohesive, repeatable concept, integrating the play experience, customer journey and operating systems so the model could be refined and replicated across locations.

Our first location opened in Braeside, Victoria, in November 2025. By July 2026, we had recorded more than 12,000 play-session bookings and hosted 169 birthday parties. With our second location secured, we are now growing Diggerland with franchise partners across Australia.
