About the Business
ROV SALES
• ROVs are recreational and inspection class with light work options, e.g. sampling, cutting, cleaning, NDT. Extensive range of accessories including GPS, sonar, manipulators, pressure washers, metal thickness gauges.
• Units purchased on a custom order basis (no retail stock held on shelf) with general lead times of 4 weeks from order to delivery. It is feasible to hold stock of cheaper ROVs if preferred. If needed, customers can be supported with equipment loans from hire fleet when excessive manufacturing time delays are experienced.
• Current industries include defence, asset managers, water infrastructure agencies, resources, commercial diving, maritime, ocean science and recreational, with room for growth. Future opportunities to further develop the aquaculture, energy, search and rescue markets.
ROV HIRES
• Demonstration fleet of ROVs including some with navigation, sonar and automation, and crawler for tank cleaning or ship hull inspections, are available for hire or to offer in-house operator services.
• Minimum hire fee is $AUD1750 ex gst ex freight per week for mini-ROV. Legally drafted hire agreements, insurances and PPSR procedures in place.
• Hires also used to encourage sales by offering 40% credit back to hirers if an ROV purchase is made within 3 months of hire.
• Current industries include defence, asset managers, water infrastructure agencies, resources and commercial diving for hires. Future growth opportunities into maritime, ocean science, aquaculture, energy, search and rescue, and recreational markets.
ROV SERVICING
• Fully equipped workshop with tools and parts to undertake warranty repairs, non-warranty repairs and servicing.

History
National distributor of ROV products since 2015. Customer and inquiries database collated since inception. Retail product range started with 1 x ROV and now expanded to 4 x ROVs, 3 x crawlers and a new ROV in development.
Owners began using the ROVs for water tank inspections and then began to represent the supplier as a distributor, primarily to provide access to ROVs used for tank inspections and cleaning at cost price. The inspection/cleaning business was sold in 2022 but can be revived for a new owner.
