Opens early in the morning for brekkie sandwiches, pastries and Reuben Hills coffee. The croque monsieur is a morning favourite. Their take on the French classic is a melty, gooey, warming stack of double-smoked ham, gruyère and comte cheeses, bechamel sauce and dijon mustard, packed between two slices of Iggy’s sourdough toast. Lunch is a tight and regularly changing sandwich list offers six staples and two specials.

Meanwhile, the Nancy is a combination of baked ricotta, marinated artichoke, onion-and-currant jam, cos and dill gremolata on a panini. And the Al Green is a vegan-friendly pile of kale puree, avocado, iceberg lettuce, Granny Smith apple, alfalfa, pepita and vegan mayonnaise on a panini. There’s also a choice of salads, as well as a bunch of extras and sides. The owners have made the most of the interior. Jars of house-made jams, syrups and preserves line the shelves; garlic braids hang from the walls.

This was the first venture for the owners of this successful sandwicherie – and as a learning experience this has achieved all the desired expectations and outcomes. The owners have learnt to operate their own business – from the very beginning – and would now like to capitalise on this experience with a larger business venture. About the Business
This is now a highly successful Sandwicheries operating in the Potts Point section of Kings Cross. This small sandwich shop is fully equipped as a high turnover maker and server of outstanding original sandwiches. Opened and established itself as a viable take away sandwich shop just prior to the 1st Covid Lockdown. The shop traded extremely well during the lockdown periods and has now developed a niche following in providing original and exciting sandwiches – with a difference.
