Location Details

244 Rocky point road, Ramsgate
Main road position with strong passing traffic and off street parking. Fully fitted commercial kitchen and warehouse on the one site, minutes from Sydney Airport and the M5, servicing the CBD, inner west and southern suburbs with ease.

Potential

The model, menus and systems are already proven in both Sydney and Melbourne, giving a new owner a ready made blueprint rather than an untested concept. The kitchen and warehouse run well below capacity, so a buyer can add wholesale production, meal prep or a second brand without taking on more fixed cost. Corporate account volume has room to grow, weekend and wedding capacity is underused, and marketing has never been pushed hard. Fifteen years of brand trust is already built. The work from here is filling capacity that is already paid for.

Skills

Hospitality or business management experience is an advantage but not essential. What matters most is the ability to lead a team, hold and grow corporate accounts, quote jobs accurately and keep standards consistent through busy periods. The kitchen operates with trained staff and established menus, suppliers and prep systems already in place. A new owner steps into a working operation rather than building one. Full handover and training provided to get you across the systems, the clients and the day to day running of the business.

Hours

Core trade Monday to Friday, with weekend events as booked. Hours are flexible around an established, trained team.

Lease

Three years remaining plus option. Long standing landlord, lease assignable to an approved incoming buyer.

Reason for Sale

After fifteen years I am stepping back from catering to focus on a franchise business I am rolling out internationally. This is not a decision about One Pot Catering. The business is trading, the team is in place and the client relationships are strong. It needs an owner who can give it proper attention, and I can no longer be in two places at once. I am looking for a buyer who wants to build on what is already here, and I will stay on through a full handover to make sure that happens.

About the Business

One Pot Catering has been trading since 2011. Fifteen years, two cities, and a client base that keeps coming back.

This is a working business, not a concept. Revenue sits at $1.3 million a year across three streams: corporate catering, private events and weddings. Corporate is the backbone, delivered Monday to Friday to offices, boardrooms and functions across Sydney, with the same model running in Melbourne.

What a buyer takes over on day one:

An established client base built over fifteen years, including repeat corporate accounts.

A trained kitchen and service team who already know the menus, the systems and the standards.

Supplier relationships and pricing negotiated over more than a decade, which a new operator cannot replicate quickly.

Costed menus, quoting templates, prep sheets and operating procedures, all documented.

A fully fitted commercial kitchen and warehouse running well below its capacity.

A brand carrying fifteen years of reviews, referrals and reputation.

The business is systemised rather than personality driven. Menus, recipes and processes are written down, so a new owner is not starting from a blank page or relying on one person's memory. You do not need to be a chef to run it. You need to lead a team, look after corporate clients and quote work accurately.

Corporate catering is repeat business. Clients who are looked after do not shop around every month, they book again. That is what fifteen years buys, and it is the one part of this business that cannot be bought with a marketing budget.

Financials, client summary, equipment list and a site walkthrough are available to qualified buyers under a confidentiality agreement. Enquiries answered within 24 hours.

History

One Pot Catering opened in Sydney in 2011 and has traded continuously for fifteen years through corporate catering, private events and weddings. The business expanded into Melbourne, proving the menus, pricing and operating systems hold up in a second market rather than only working in one. It has come through a recession, a pandemic that shut the events industry down, and the return of office catering that followed. The client base, the team and the systems in place today are the result of that.
