About the Business
Tropical Daze is a beach goes shop, sometimes nicknamed the I Forgot Shop. Hats, Sunglasses, Towel, Boardies, Thongs etc.
Not only does it have the tourist trade but also the local that maybe needs a new dress for a beach party, or a Bamboo Shirt for the men.
The shop is across the road from Alma Bay and the Bus Stop is just outside the front door so access is very easy.
This is a very easy shop to run and every day has a relaxed atmosphere witch matches up with being on Island time.
History
This business was a tee-shirt shop in the eighties, various owners until I bought in February of 2004. Over the years I have slightly tweaked the business for example adding more beach toys, snorkeling sets etc. adjusting as needed with the tourism industry. Magnetic Island will always be a great holiday destination and seems to be getting more and more popular as the years go by.
