Application of a liquor license to help improve high season revenue outside of and in addition to the current operating hours.
The oversized fully renovated kitchen would lend itself to further catering opportunities beyond what already exists as well as opening for dinner service Friday and Saturday evenings.
The cafe is fully staffed with experienced front of house and back of house staff who manage stock levels and place orders.
Ideally the operator has some business acumen and experince in hospitality; Rostering, recruiting, training, marketing, OH&S and excellent customer relations are all important skills required to operate the business.
Further sklls in the kitchen or on the coffee machine would be of benefit to your role in the business.

Unfortunately an illness in the family means that the ownership of a local cafe is not going to accommodate the need to be able to travel freely at short notice and/or possibly live abroad in coming years. There is no rush to sell the business and any sale could be structured to accommodate appropriate training.
The cafe is two paced.
Weekdays we cater mainly for a brunch crowd sprinkled with coffee regulars. Weekends and holiday periods are upscaled with either visitors from out of area looking for a meal to help complete their visit to the beach or locals who have more time to treat themselves to breakfast or lunch.
The cafe has a soft, warm and beachy aesthetic that can be very open and breezy in summer or more confined and cosy in winter. It is the only cafe in the area with substantial indoor seating so poor weather dosnt harm turnover very much.
This duality makes for a desirable and multi faceted place to meet all year round be it with a friend or a colleague outside of your home during the week or for breakfast post surf on the weekend.
Not just a dine in location the cafe holds a take-away attraction for shoppers from the neighbouring Coles supermarket who grab a coffee to take shopping as well as mums and dads with small children in need of a coffee and a babycino on their way to the community playground across the road.
This cafe is nearing the ccompletion of its second year at this new location and previously operated out of a much smaller espresso bar on the same street for a further eight years under a different trading name. The owner is well known and the reputation well established in the community. This new location provided the opportunity to explore a full menu offering as well as more of an elevated dine-in experience with the creation of a unique beachside ambience for both staff and customers to enjoy equally.
