in 1992 Aussie Pooch Mobile (APM) became the first franchise system of it's kind and is the worlds first and most experieinced mobile dog wash and care service, servicing tens of thousands of dogs every month (Aussie Pooch Mobile Detailed Operations Manual 2024). APM is dedicated to providing the franchisee with the skills, experieince, education and support to enable them to offer our customers a welcoming, enjoyable, convenient, affordable, relaible and efficient service to maintain their pet's best wellbeing.
This APM business has been in operation in the Cranbourne and Botanic Ridge area for the past ten years and retains a loyal and regular customer base, servicing customers on a weekly and/or monthly basis.
The service provides dogs with a warm hydrobath using plant based shampoos and conditioners. Their ears and eyes are cleaned and their nails clipped, followed with a blow dry and a fragrant coat conditioner and deodoriser is applied to round out the service.

Skills
A dog groomer mus have the ability and willingness to treat dogs with kindness and respect. They require customer service professionalism, and the aptitude to deal with and communicate effectively with a broad range of customers. You need to have the ability to tow a trailer, reverse and manouvre the trailer (e.g. reverse out of a driveway onto a busy street).
Length of Agreement
The initial franchise agreement is for five years. Beyond that is negotiated with the franchisor on a monthly basis.
