Temple Massage has been operating on the Sunshine Coast Hinterland for 16 years. We provide a range of Massage (therapeutic and relaxation) and Spa treatments (facials and foot treatments) in our Maleny Clinic or Mobile to accomodation venues and homes and utilise Qld made quality products in our Spa services. It supports local Massage therapists who are contracted and it's busiest times are between May and November in the cooler months when peole like to have fire-side massages.
Our clients are predominately visitors to the area (is a huge tourism hub) wanting side by side treatments as part of their getaway or celebrations (Pre and post Wedding, Engagements, Anniversaries and Birthday's) We also look after groups and single travelers. We also have a client base of locals who enjoy our services. Many of our clients rebook each trip and only choose our services when they are in our area.
Temple Massage is unique in that we specialise in quality side by side Couples and groups treatments, bringing in work for local therapists and businesses. It has a long history in the area and has become a "must do" when staying on the Hinterland. Busiest days are Friday/Saturday and we book out quickly as our services are in high demand. The current owner has not needed any Marketing or Advertising in 7 years. It is a flexible business with low admin hours and simple formula for operations and an amazing ability to expand and grow for the new owner to suit their vision.
History
Establised 17 years ago, the initial owners sold after 6 years, the second after 3 years and current owner has enjoyed 7 years. It was initially only Mobile services to venues in Maleny, Montville, Flaxton and Mapleton areas and the current owner opened the Maleny Clinic in 2017 to expand the business potential. There are long standing relationships with different accommodation venues and owners as well as retreat organisers in the area. In the first few years of ownership the current owner organised retreat packages utilising a team of 15.
