This isn't an hourly-rate grooming position. It's an opportunity to run your own mobile dog wash business, get out on the road, build relationships with customers & their dogs, and develop a customer base of your own—with the backing of an established Australian brand.
You won't be starting from scratch. Aussie Pooch provides a fully equipped mobile dog wash unit, comprehensive dog handling, washing and business training, proven systems, marketing support, ongoing business and operational support, and a network of experienced operators to learn from and connect with. Team events, development opportunities and an annual conference are also part of the network.
No previous dog grooming experience is necessary. We'll provide the training to help you get started. We're looking for someone who loves dogs, enjoys working with people, is motivated and is prepared to build their own business.

For someone interested in eventually owning their own Aussie Pooch business, Manage Now Buy Later provides a lower-upfront-cost way to get started.
Start as an Aussie Pooch Mobile Representative and build the customer base while learning how to run the business. The mobile dog wash unit is provided, so you don't need to purchase a trailer to get started.
You should have approximately $5,000 in available start-up funds to cover training, insurance, initial marketing and other business set-up requirements. This is not a $5,000 fee paid to Aussie Pooch.
Over the first 24 months, part of the standard Representative contribution may accumulate towards the agreed purchase price of the territory if you decide to purchase it, subject to the agreed terms. There is no requirement to make the full franchise investment upfront.
This is a self-employment/business opportunity, not a salaried employment position. The Representative is responsible for operating and developing the business, building a customer base and meeting applicable start-up, insurance and operating requirements. All pathway, contribution, territory purchase and franchise arrangements are subject to formal documentation and agreed terms.
