This is a lease-based business opportunity within an aged care facility, in Hove SA. The salon has an existing client base that includes residential aged care residents, community clients, staff and residents’ family members.
Potential
The salon has an established client base. Alwyndor provides and maintains the salon’s plant and equipment, allowing the successful operator to focus on delivering a warm, personalised and high-quality service. A supported handover will also be available to help maintain continuity for existing clients.
Skills
We are looking for an operator who:
• is confident providing a broad range of hairdressing services
• enjoys building relationships and delivering warm, personalised service
• is patient, approachable and comfortable working with a diverse client base
• can provide a reliable and consistent salon service
• is committed to meeting the requirements of an aged care environment
An understanding of mature hair and skin considerations, together with experience working with older clients, would be highly regarded.

Hairdressing services are currently offered across four days each week, generally between 9.00am and 3.30pm.

About the Business
We seek expressions of interest from community-minded hairdressers or hairdressing businesses to lease and operate our on-site salon.
The hairdressing salon has an existing client base that includes residential aged care residents, community clients, staff and residents’ family members.
Hairdressing services are currently offered across four days each week. We are seeking an operator able to provide a reliable salon service for a minimum of four days per week, generally between 9.00 am and 3.30 pm.
Specific operating days and lease arrangements can be discussed through the Expression of Interest process.
The successful operator may be an individual hairdresser or a hairdressing business engaging appropriately qualified and approved personnel.
All hairdressers delivering services from the salon must meet Alwyndor’s relevant screening, qualification, insurance, induction and training requirements before commencing on-site.
