About the Business
This is an opportunity to acquire an accredited, mixed billing general practice that has been trading for more than a decade in one of Melbourne's established inner suburbs. The founding owners plan to spend most of the year travelling. The principal GP will keep consulting at the practice for part of each year after the sale, so the new owner gets a smooth handover.
The practice billed $1.59 million in FY2026, and 62% of that was privately billed, a share that has risen every year. Six GPs work from the practice on tenant doctor service fee arrangements, and a seventh doctor has committed to start in 2027. The patient base is large and loyal, covering young families, professionals, retirees and multicultural communities.
The practice runs from fitted medical premises with main road exposure. It has five consulting rooms, a treatment room, an on-site pathology collection room and full reception and administration areas.
