About the Opportunity
Four friends had an idea. It hatched into Australia’s most delicious fried chicken.
Blending expertise as marketers and chefs, Gami’s four co-founders set out in 2006 with a simple goal: make Korean fried chicken they’d be proud to serve their kids, friends and family. These principles of quality and sincerity have steered Gami ever since, the wishbone of the whole operation and the secret sauce of Gami’s success.
As a new restaurant owner we give you extensive training and support. From food prep, front-of-house, back-of-house, HR training and much more, we’ll cover everything you need to know, and then some.
Success is built on solid foundations. Gami gives you the tools, knowledge, guidance and support to build the bedrock of your own business. Through extensive training, programs, check-ins and close ongoing support, we equip franchisees with everything the modern business owner needs to thrive.
Our franchisees come from many backgrounds and nationalities but all share a passion for our unique food offerings and makign sure customers have a great time. Then as the success of your restaurant builds, you can expand further like many of our existing franchisees who have already established 2 or 3 Gami restaurants in their home town.

Marketing support
Gami has created a diverse business model with instore dining, deliveries and takeaway.
Marketing programs for launch & ongoing. Strong brand.
Gami has active marketing & social media campaigns managed by the head office team for store launch & for ongoing promotions.
Franchisees contribute 2% to a marketing fund but this is waived for the first 6 months for new stores
Training provided
4 week structured training program conducted in company stores and your new store. We train you and your key staff in food preparation, front of house operations, kitchen operations and business management. With access to the 4 owners of Gami and their experienced support team you get detailed and strong training in all aspects of the business including very active support during your store launch phase. Dedicated field support managers continue to work with you to build your business and reach your objectives.
Skills
No specific qualifications are required but we are after specific types of franchisees.
Owner/operators are preferred and people with energetic and positive personalities. Our outlets are busy and we need organised and passionate owners and staff members to run a great business and deliver great food and a great customer experience.
Some Gami restaurants are set up to be operated under Management to enable part time or after hours involvement by the Owner. This means you can keep your day job and grow your restuarant investment alongside.

History
GAMI story began in 2006 with the founder 'Rio Yoon' in Carnegie. WIth years of hands on experience with Korean cuisine, Rio decided to focus on perfecting a recipe for fried chicken & sauces, and sharing one of his country's favourite foods to the world.
Our delicious piles of chicken quickly attracted droves of diners. The word soon spread and there are now GAMI chicken stores across Australia offering quality and delightful food.
Gami is Melbourne based but also operates in Sydney, Perth, Adelaide and Canberra.
