About the Business

The business specialises in polystyrene fabrication, CNC milling, CNC hot-wire cutting and polyurea hard-coating. Approximately 80% of the work comes from the construction, formwork and concrete mould manufacturing sectors. The balance has historically included event signage, lettering, activations and product replicas, however all advertising for that side of the business has been turned off due to strong existing demand. There is currently more work available than one person can comfortably handle.
Started from scratch three years ago, the business has shown clear growth. Turnover reached approximately $200,000 in the second year, and the current financial year has already surpassed $200,000
It is currently run successfully as a low-overhead, one-person operation (Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm) with a solid base of repeat clients. All major equipment is owned outright with no finance owing and is only around three years old. This includes:
