Limeplus has been operated by the "Lime Bros " since !995 . Elder brother started alone in 1991 . They have been heavily involved in both the sugar and dairy industry on the Sunshine Coast , and regions north, west and south . They have seen industries come and go , through , economic , climatic and social change . A constant has been the land . The intrinsic value of good , well maintained land is well recognised . The need to get a return from this investment often comes down to agronomists advice in balancing nutrient levels . Getting the message out there is an on going mission . Ones own belief in what is right , but is still affordable ,needs to be confirmed by others , in the business , or have seen the results . Limeplus has continued to provide service on a smaller scale , with changing times , and no longer operates self unloading trailers . These were essential in getting larger loads to properties where no loading capability was to be found . Today road transport is the standard , and keeps prices viable for all . In most cases clients have loading capacity or a machine is brought in on one off basis
History
see above . Limeplus has always used Man 6x6 spreaders , and adapted them to spread a variety of products over time . Large scale use of chicken litter has been in place in some industries , especially at planting time , and in ground preparation . In organic Fertiizers have seen a decline , due to price , and customer perceptions . The use of Ag lime remains , and gives cost , benefit returns when compared to alternatives . Going forward this will remain and can be built on , with bulk products , that always require a spreading contractor .
