Marketing support
Chipmunks delivers end-to-end marketing support to build brand awareness and drive traffic to your store from day one. Franchisees benefit from tailored grand opening campaigns, professionally designed digital and printed promotional assets, and ongoing national brand initiatives - all easily accessible through our Franchise Portal.
Training provided
Chipmunks provides a comprehensive, multi-phase training program to ensure every franchisee is fully equipped for success. Training includes hands-on experience in an existing store prior to launch, and dedicated on-site support during your initial opening period, alongside interactive online modules via our Franchise Portal.
Skills
This opportunity is best suited to owner-operators, willing to be present in their business and able to commit a minimum of 30 hours per week in-venue. The right candidate will be passionate about creating great experiences for children and families and confident leading and developing teams while delivering consistent customer service.

Length of Agreement
Our standard franchise agreement offers an initial 10-year term, with two 5-year rights of renewal (10 + 5 + 5 years). Agreement terms are typically structured to align with your store’s commercial lease.

It all began in 1994 when Lance Spence wanted to create an active, safe environment
for his kids, Maddy and Aidan. Eighteen months later, Chipmunks was launched in
Christchurch, bringing the dream to life.
