About the Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to establish a new Burger Urge venue at Chisholm Plaza, within one of the fastest-growing residential areas of the greater Newcastle region. We are seeking the right Franchise Partner to launch the venue, build a strong local following and grow alongside this expanding community.
Chisholm is a young, family-oriented catchment experiencing significant residential growth, with continued development bringing new households into the area. Positioned within Chisholm Plaza, the venue will benefit from being part of an established neighbourhood centre serving the everyday needs of the surrounding community.
Importantly, gourmet burger exclusivity has been secured within the centre, giving you the opportunity to establish Burger Urge as the dedicated premium burger offering at the Plaza.
Chisholm also sits within a proven market for Burger Urge, with two existing restaurants already operating across the Newcastle region. This provides established brand awareness while giving you the opportunity to grow Burger Urge into a fast-developing part of the market.
This greenfield opportunity is ideally suited to a hands-on Franchise Partner who wants to lead from the front, become part of the local community and build a business with genuine long-term growth potential.
You’ll be supported by comprehensive training, established operating systems and ongoing support across operations, marketing, finance and performance. Backed by an established national brand and growing franchise network, Chisholm offers the opportunity to build your own Burger Urge business from the ground up in a rapidly expanding community.
Marketing support
Marketing contributions from all Franchise Partners fund national brand building and promotional campaigns, including brand marketing, local area marketing support, point-of-purchase materials, integrated campaigns, PR and new product innovation. Franchise Partners can also apply marketing contributions to approved Local Area Marketing initiatives, including sporting club sponsorships, out-of-home advertising and targeted digital offers.
Training provided
Prior to opening, Franchise Partners complete our comprehensive 8-week Management Training Program, designed to prepare you for every aspect of business ownership. Training covers Burger Urge systems and procedures, restaurant operations, food safety, people leadership, financial management, compliance and local marketing, providing the practical skills, knowledge and confidence to lead your venue from day one.
Skills
Previous food industry experience is not essential. What matters is a full-time commitment to actively lead and grow your Burger Urge business. We’re looking for hands-on, accountable operators with strong people skills, commercial awareness and a drive to succeed. Our operations team provides ongoing training, coaching and performance support to help you lead your team, maintain standards, manage financial performance and continuously improve your business.
