Hedonbar Brewing Company is a craft brewery and tap room based within the beautiful Copper Coast region, South Australia. Beer is brewed onsite and sold direct to the public via a tap room in a single venue. The core product being the tasting paddle where a customer is able to choose any 4 beers from the range on offer, which is a choice of 8 to 10 seasonal beer varieties. Takeaway is available via 1 litre squealers and bottled stubbies and long neck varieties.
Hedonbar operates as a cellar door style venue with its core opening hours during the day, currently trading Fri-Sun, with additional days during peak holiday seasons. The venue has a relaxed feel that is welcoming for all. The brewery's food offering is a snack menu consisting of Cheese and Charcuterie boards, premium toasted sandwiches, local small goods and snacks. Food vans operate during peak holiday times. The venue is a large industrial space with ample room to install a kitchen with all requisite licenses already in place.
The type of clients the business caters to is mainly tourists, however there is also a modest, strong local following, including a members club.
This is an amazing opportunity to either expand the operation to include a wholesale business, distribution, a permanent food offering and/or additional opening hours. Alternatively, it can be run as a lifestyle business to cater mainly to the tourist market with operational hours to suit.
Hedonbar Brewing is a true startup business. The project began by founders Troy and Rayma Dennis in 2019 which involved brewing education, a comprehensive beer recipe pilot program spanning 5 years, offsite beer marketing events throughout 2022, the construction of the commercial site which began in 2021, through to opening the doors to the public in March 2023. Hedonbar's success is based upon quality and consistency of product, friendly service, seasonal events, live music and a relaxed atmosphere for all to enjoy.
