Potential

The business has been operational for over four years now. I capped my clients at a maximum of 25. However, with the focus on socials and workshops, the business under the right leadership will be able to expand and add more than 25 clients working with staff to increase profit.

I have had a steady growth over the years in income and I know the right person will be able to push and create this opportunity in the future.

Skills

Skills that will highly benefit the right person are:

- Management Skills
- Disability knowledge and prior experience (especially those with lower needs and Autism, Anxiety and ADHD)
- Teaching of training experience
- Leadership and delegation skills
- Knowledge of working with the NDIS
- Being caring, paitent and willing to be flexible at every turn
- Payroll software (MYOB, XERO or similar) and ATO requirements
- Knowledge of how to put session plans and workshops together

Hours

I work from 830-5pm Monday to Friday.

We do work some Friday nights and very rarely on a weekend with clients.

Lease

I run all workshops out of a co working space a few days per week and pay by the month on the business needs.

Employees

I have 5 employees that are all casual. All staff are trained in all disability, they are upskilling in various areas like community service, SLSO and therapies.

Reason for Sale

I have achieved everything I wanted to achieve with the business and I need to step down due to some personal reasons and so I can achieve my final goal of going into behavioural therapy.

I have tried to obtain my further educational needs for this goal twice now with no sucess. The business has always been the priority. It's time for me to take care of myself and let someone else take charge and move LST into the future.

NEW Summer Social Program (SSP) Launched in January 2026

The clients are the ones who design their entire program and social calendar. They have an RSVP system and a chat provided to help with information and social connection, as well as helping each other problem solve when needed.

We work with all clients individual NDIS goals and consatant feedback form them to help design the program each year. We have the staples but as clients have grown, we have grown with the clients too.

History

I came from a training and teaching background and worked for a larger disability provider. Whilst working there, I was in charge of the higher functioning clients. I saw a massive area of opportunity that was not being tapped into and I decided to take the plunge and go it on my own.

This is how LST was born. We expanded very organically and quickly within the first 12 months of business. This is when I listened to clients and their parents in what services were not really availabile for them, and began to create what you see we have now.
