Location Details
Currently in dry, clean storage, ready for pick-up to wherever you are! Books are packed flat in clean boxes. Shelving used only once and available for you to set up in your own shop location, wherever you want that to be. Images are past set-up.
Potential
Sell from a shop, or combine direct sales with online selling. You could use social media to boost sales (or not), and if you set up in a tourist location, sales will be boosted during every tourist-attracting event (or start your own local literary festival!).
Skills

Reason for Sale
Time to move on to other things for us. We have moved elsewhere and the bookshop didn't come with us.
About the Business
Approximately 12,500 quality secondhand books, all categorised, priced and cleaned. Retail revenue of categorised books is approx. $240,000. All categories of books are represented.
Sale also includes adjustable steel shelving (like you see in libraries), it is in excellent condition.
*The books are listed on a database and most have images - perfect for online selling. The database and images are an additional cost of $5,000. This price is valid upon initial purchase of the books only and not if you want the databse at a later time!
Point-of-sale equipment is included (book displays, baskets, cash register etc.).
Pick-up is at cost of buyer. The entire bookshop can go to wherever you want to set it up, either direct to your home for online selling, or to a retail shop (there are enough books and shelves for up to a 90sqm max. retail space, including your service desk and walkways etc.). Or, have a smaller shop, or just online from your home, whatever works for you. I would consider selling the books and shelves separately though the individual costs will be higher if sold separately.
Other books not on the database are also available in select categories. Enquire if interested.
History
Bookshop has been a retail shop, and then an established online selling business after covid graced us with its presence. Established in 2016, now in storage since 2024 since we moved.
