Our lesson fees are priced at market value and we have been successful retaining existing students who have stayed with us till Grade 8. New students continue to grow about 2% a month. Additional theory classes for different progress levels of students can be expanded to add income. Our studio has five rooms with 4 upright pianos, 2 baby grand pianos and are regularly serviced. Opportunities to explore online classes and keyboard group classes are good options, each class can accommodate six students. Academic lessons are also an alternate.

One must enjoy music and make provision to support students in different stages of learning. It is highly beneficial that the new owner possess strong leadership & have a musically trained background professional to lead & provide the right teaching techniques to students. We are business ready equipped with a team of teachers & support staff. We pride ourselves with 99.9% success rate in the AMEB exams for Beginners & Seniors Piano for Leisure & Piano Forte. We are proud to teach consistently just under 100 students.

We have a team of 13 employees consisting both of casuals and independent contractors for both piano and violin teachers, clerical to provide support for customer service & admin, one director as a Head Teacher and other director as Administrator
Reason for Sale
The family business is under two directors. Both Directors are committed to a new change. The Head Teacher Director is making adjustments as a young mother with two young daughters, a 7 months old and a 4 year old. She needs more time with her family and wont be able to work the late hours required of her. The other director like to enjoy retirement land using her golden years wisely, enjoying grandkids & take up some travelling while possible.
About the Business
The business offers one to one lesson, each tailored to the needs of the learner whether a beginner child or adult. Whether beginner or advance level, each lesson is done according to the student’s pace. No pressure is put on them to sit exams. It provides the same focused commitment to all piano, violin and guitar lessons with much encouragement, technique and knowledge. Time and practice are the nuts and bolts to better pace lesson with good results. The business supplies the tools and be a mentor for their progression. Feedback comments from mid year and half yearly reports are communicated to give parents a report. Practise makes it fun & easier.
Group Theory lessons are another service recommended for added notes cognition. Interesting games and gimmick worksheet tools were prepared by our Head Teacher. She injected more interest to cement the sound language of not just piano knowledge but piquing their interest in the music language. Different levels of Theory classes were identified for students. Learning piano or music is a language which requires a cohesive understanding of performance, scales, theory. Students for Grade 5-8 are required to obtain a pass in Theory Musicianship to get their certification.
The Studio runs casual Group Guitar Classes by popular demand, a 8 lesson course on chords, fingering, tablature and playing favourite pieces.
The studio organises many enjoyable Annual Easter & Annual Christmas concerts with very successful student performances, well received by audience, award giving, and raffles. It’s a big deal night and hats off to the Business Lead who successfully enabled the student performers to complete their favourite piece on the stage in front of a crowd. The Studio is proud of the many students who have conquered their fear. The Concerts has a success rate for reenrolment of 85-90% for the new year.
We also provide onsite AMEB exams twice a year support with mock trial to ensure students are well prepared.
Our Head Teacher/Director also created a 8 lesson group class program for pre school kids, a very inspirational program. Many young beginners were introduced to the first joys of music. Many do return for one to one lessons after the course.
Our Team shares a great culture of support & trust over many years, we are very lucky to have the pool of teaching experience, the dedication of staff inclusive and qualifications that come with it. There has been a lot of celebration of wins of the many years which adds an intrinsic value to imparting music to the community.
History
The studio started with a handful of students when they were first taught in an apartment. Mum and daughter decided to start a proprietary limited and acquire a commercial space to present a more respectable view to the clientele and grow the number of students. Incorporated Sept 2011, 13 years now. Location is perfect next to a bus stop & near Campsie Train station soon metro.
The presence of social media on Facebook, Insta and personal website helped but word and mouth on our successful teaching program has helped increased numbers.
