For sale is the exclusive rights and all the information you need relevant to the Timberset solid timber building system. It's a unique system whereby solid timber planks interlock to form stuctural walls, designed intially 40 years ago for easy construction of homes built by owner-builders. The owner-builder market largely dried up in the early 2000's when the building standards were strengthened, at which time the Timberset brand became reknowned for high quality professionally built bespoke solid timber homes. There are many hundreds of Timberset homes built all over Australia since it's inception, loved for their ease of construction, eco-friendly credentials (carbon positive), beautiful and healthy timber interiors, and very high energy ratings (well exceeding the minimum 7 star energy rating).
As part of Timberset's evolution, the system was adapted for modular prefabrication (factory produced homes) in recent years, opening up opportunities for volume building, commercial accommodation, and social housing projects.
Timberset's private clients are typically environmentally focused and appreciative of the beauty and health benefits of timber. Prefabricated homes are popular with people in regional areas and those that need secondary dwellings.
