After working tirelessly over the last 11 years establishing a strong brand and reputation, it’s time for us to retire.
About the Business
Currently the business is being run by us, husband & wife team and 1 contractor on call. After previously employing several employees in the glass section we no longer required them as we moved more into the Pressed Metal supply & install.
By doing this we have simplified the running of the processing of both the glass & pressed metal requiring mostly site measuring and ordering the glass online from our suppliers.
Pressed metal can be processed inhouse with full cutting & painting capabilities available.
We currently have customers coming from as far as Lismore to the south and Mt Isa in the north and most places in between. Our showroom is the only place in Queensland with a wide range of Pressed Metal panels for customers to come and view the different patterns and colours as well as discussing the options available. With no existing staff to worry about, you can bring your own staff or not, it’s an extremely easy and profitable business to run with just two people.
Our only form of advertising is social media and our website which is well established and features kitchen simulators for customers to view a variety of different ideas.
Most of our work comes from referrals, repeat clients, cabinetmakers, builders and architects & designers. We are known for our personalized & professional service and attention to detail on our installs.
This could easily be expanded on. We have excellent relationships with all our suppliers. There are no outstanding debts, and a brilliant credit rating with all. Over the years we have developed a close working relationship with them all and we also have numerous cabinetmakers & several builders who we work regularly with. We are willing to stay on for a couple of weeks for the transition, or whatever is required.
History
Our business was originally established in 1990 as a glass processing business with present ownership from 2014 and then adding Pressed Metal supply and processing 4 years ago which has grown to overtake the glass side of the business.
This business is unique to the heritage & restoration industry supplying panels with pressed metal patterns dating back to 1890’s.
