My area is bald hills out to Redcliffe, Bribie and then as far as Kilcoy. In saying that there is no one on the sunshine coast that does it, so next one is Harvey Bay. You can accept clients out of your area as long as you tell them there is a closer franchise , if there is.
The purchase price is following
Goodwill $7,000 (Goodwill period until 11 September 2031 with a renewal required on 11 September 2026)
Stock & Equipment $3,000
Total $10,000 – Nil GST
My remaining term in 11th September 2026 in this time you have to renew. Cost will need to be discuss with Cheryl From head office
Quarterly cost regarding royalties is 4% of each frame which I’ve paid roughly $250-$300 per quarter based off my sales
There is also an advertising levy paid every new financial year. I have paid this already not due until next July-August 2025
Regarding stock purchase- You must purchase stock ie frame borders etc from our supplier along with others items ie staples etc from Cheryl. This is all done from, the data base. The stock that comes with the sale is very good quality, and has taken me 3 years to have the stock I have, with this stock you usually only need to purchase frames on most stock purchases. You can also utilise other franchisees for buying to save money.
All my equipment comes with the sale this includes grinder, paint, moulds, powder, bowls, invoices, sample frames, stone for moulds, all equipment needed to do and make frames
Training is an extra cost to you, Which is a 2 day training at Cheryl’s place in Stretton, this is roughly $1500
Cost of legal documentation, changes to phone number, database etc is also extra cost. Not sure of this maybe $800
