This is an excellent small business model. It's a mobile van that travels daily from site to site, mainly focussing on residential properties to repair broken, grubby grout in various areas. The daily work mainly consists of fixing leaking showers, but we also specialise in cheap bathroom renovations, balcony repairs, tile cleaning and repairs, and colour sealing large areas. We can make an old tired bathroom look like new in one day by replacing worn and grubby grout and silicone with fresh grout and new silicone. We also use coloured epoxy and grout sealants which make a dramatic visual difference.

The franchise provides excellent training as this is a skilled labour position, it is not a licensed trade but it is a specialist product. Basic knowledge of tiling and tools is helpful but can be learnt. The franchise support is exceptional and it also provides many of the materials we use daily at manufacturers prices. We offer a 12 year warranty on our materials and as such we are recommended by all of the local pest and building inspectors, plumbers, tilers and real estate agents. About 50% of our work comes through these recommendations alone. We have a good reputation in town and a highly visual impact with our wrapped vans acting as mobile billboards. We operated throughout COVID as an essential business. We have very little local competition and we satisfy a niche market. We offer a cheap, affordable way to fix a leaking shower or rejuvenate a bathroom at a tenth of the price of a tiler or renovator. its simple work at great profit that has a large potential for growth with a minimal investment into marketing and sales.
