About the Opportunity
Bowlarama Bowls is situated in a growing commercial and industrial area, and has recently welcomed 12 new warehouse offices on the street, adding to the existing surrounding residential housing. The sporting fields at the back of the café offers excellent weekend trade opportunities for families pre and post games. The café is heavily supported by local residents and commercial staff, in addition to the gym trade from the spin studio and gym located within the building.
Bowlarama Bowls is a successful franchise with two other cafes on the Central Coast and opportunities of more franchises in QLD and Byron Bay. Bowlarama Bowls is under a lease agreement with the building, and shares the unique space with a fitness centre, gym and spin studio with an existing large client base. Bowlarama Bowls is a boutique kiosk, providing an internal seating area, covered bench seating and outdoor seating options for customers. The café is also heavily supported by customers who prefer to take away. There is currently 3.5 years remaining on the franchise agreement with an option to extend, and we are seeking a passionate café orientated businessperson to take over the lease.

Marketing support
The Franchisor, on behalf of its Franchisees, establishes a marketing fund
to cover the production, advertising, promotion and marketing of the Bowlarama
brand. They publish promotional material such as brochures, loyalty and menu cards, videos, photos to social media platforms and the Bowlarama website. They work strongly on developing customer relations, including implementation of customer rewards programs.
The Marketing Fund is intended to maximise recognition of the Bowlarama name and to promote the product.
Training provided
The Franchisor will provide the following forms of training and assistance to the Franchisee:
(a) initial training including, how to work point of sales, coffee training, run down of suppliers etc.
(b) ongoing training and assistance to the Franchisee, in relation to:
(i) methods and procedures for the sale of Authorised Products
(ii) introduction of new products/ marketing and sales promotion initiatives.
(c) ongoing information on all matters of direct relevance to the Bowlarama business.
Skills
No specific qualifications or experience are needed, however an understanding of customer service, lock up and opening procedures and money handling would be beneficial.
Training will be provided on working the coffee machine, Square point of sale system and making the products.
Length of Agreement
5 years, however there is 3.5 years remaining, with the option to continue.

Our journey with Bowlarama Bowls started when we formed a relationship with the founding owners through common ground. The owners have a gym connected to thier Bowlarama Kiosk in Kincumber and we fell in love with this concept and wanted to replicate this and have this available to the people of Newcastle.
