Property staging allows the home to be presented in its best possible light, as the staging company fills the home with beautiful and coordinating furniture, linens, accessories, ornaments, plants and artwork. The property is professionally photographed and the Real Estate Agent holds home opens confident that the home is presented to the best of its ability. At the end of the hire term, the staging company removes all items in time for the property to settle for its new owners.
Many buyers cannot imagine how to arrange furniture in a vacant property – in fact as little as 10% of the population can accurately visualise furniture within a space. This means that by not utilising property staging in a vacant home you are excluding 90% of your buying audience. For this reason, property staging is particularly popular with properties that have oddly shaped rooms or unusual spaces. Real Estate Agents contact the owners directly with property details or walk through video and request a quote. Owners build a quote from video, online photos or site visit and present for consideration. Once the quote has been accepted owners plan the furniture to be used and reserve pieces in the warehouse. Owners then pack linens and accessories in preparation for install day.
On install day sub-contractors collect items from warehouse and deliver to the property. Owners arrive at property and assist in hanging artwork, making beds and placing accessories and ornaments. Minimum hire term is currently 5 weeks. At the end of the hire term sub contractors attend the property to pack up items and return to warehouse.
