The business has naturally wound down as I have focussed my efforts on other aspects of my life. I have thoroughly enjoyed building up the business over the last 10 years. I have learnt so much and the only reason for the sale is that I am moving on to new chapters in my life and it is time to do something new. I will thoroughly miss this business.

About the Business

Photobooth business for sale (based in Adelaide, SA).

Included is everything you need to run a successful photobooth business. 3 photobooths available with lots of spare equipment (cameras, printer, lights, cables, etc) plus all the ‘trimmings’ – backdrops, backdrop stands, tables, tablecloths, rope bollards, props, signs, guestbooks and storage/transport boxes.

The photobooths are:

- Wilkes Zip Jnr iPad booth

- Your City DSLR tower photobooth (+ enclosure so it can be open or enclosed and Darkroom software license)

- Custom modular DSLR booth (+ enclosure so it can be open or enclosed and Darkroom software license)

How do I transport the photobooths? With the included 2009 Hyundai iLoad (petrol, manual, 129,000kms)!

Other inclusions: website with attached Google Ads, Facebook and Instagram accounts, email account, and registered business name.

Optional additions: Consultancy/training from me about the industry, equipment, customer management systems, processes that work, etc (I have 10 years’ experience).

The beauty of this type of business is that you can work your own hours. Choose what events work for you. Events are generally on Friday and Saturday nights (great a s a side-hustle) but there is also plenty happening during the week if you want to build the business up to full time.

Clients come from web traffic, word of mouth, repeat clients social media and Google Ads.

Being part of someone special event is a joy. Being the means for them to create memories that will last a lifetime is why I have loved this business so much.

Basing the business at home means you have low overheads and can therefore make more money. The sale includes EVERYTHING you need to get going. Just start advertising and it won't take long until you're on your way. If you average $1000 an event, it won't take long until you pay back the purchase price and start making money for yourself. With 3 photobooths there is capacity to do up to 3 events a night. Work on your own, or employ people to help you.

One of the best things about this type of business is its flexibility, you're the boss, do what works for you! I did drop-off booths so the booths and equipment have been designed to be as 'bullet proof' as possible. You set up the equipment in the afternoon, people enjoy taking photos and have a good time and then you return at the end of their event or the next morning to pack-up. Another business model is to 'attend' the event which means you stay there and 'man' the booth.

History

FOTO Machines has been built from the ground up by myself. I opened in early 2015 and have grown the business from one booth to three. We survived covid as we have a strong business. It came about as I wanted a photobooth at my 21st birthday but they were all so expensive. I set out to provide quality affordable photobooth hire. Hard work and professionalism have kept the business going for so long.
