About the Business
The business has been established for 8 years and was built up from a single work ute to a 3 hoist shop with 6 employees and 2 field service utes. Currently we have a smaller team. We mainly service and repair light vehicles but sometimes work on heavy and agricultural equipement. We are also a registered AIS and provide Queensland Safety Certificates and COI for light vehicles and trailers both in the shop and mobile. We have a mixture of business to business clients as well as the general public. We are currently using Mechanic Desk Workdshop software and have over 5 years of data and customer records, with automated customer reminders.
This business runs autonomously from the owner so the buyer can choose how much time they spend in the business.
History
In 2016, Joel decided to start his own venture. With just one work vehicle and no employees, he operated from his home's shed. Over the past 8 years, Rockhampton Mobile Mechanic has evolved significantly. We now have a commercial shed, two work vehicles, and a committed team of five, including three qualified mechanics, one apprentices, and one skilled admin staff.
