The owner hsa over forty five years evperience in the field of disability. Five staff all have Cer4 4 in disabiliity and our team leader has extensive experience. We have several local therapists who work with our participants. Our staff include those with teaching backgrounds, support coordination, carer support activities coordination and experience with mental health issues and ABI.
Hours
We run from Monday to Friday 24 hour respite care. We take participants occaisionally on weekend s and in the holidays

The business has an unsurpassed reputaion amongst families, providers and organisations. We are well know across Melbourne and Victoria for our delivery of a niche respite care service that focusses on the individual and their needs and interests. We primarily deliver 24 hour respite care in a host family setting which is a homely environment where participants feel safe, valued and respected. We have one client who stays each week for four days, one who stays alternate weeks and others who come for one week in six. We also have teenagers who come for regular weekends and school holidays. We also host group events for carers, day services and social groups. Thers is great potential to develop the businses and easily double the capacity. Our clients have a variety of disabilities, moderate to severe ID, mental health issues, autism, neurologial disorders etc. We are not accessible to wheelchairs and do not take challenging behaviours as we not NDIS registered

Our family have been a foster family for over 25 yeras and done NDIS respite care for five years.
