Originally designed for use by vehicle operators in municipal waste collection, this technology has now advanced to support additional industries, such as road condition assessment and infrastructure management, mining, transport, construction, defence and marine, as well as numerous other medium-to-heavy industry applications across Australia and New Zealand. The business is an entirely Australian-owned technology solutions provider, and headquartered in Brisbane. The technology is also designed and manufactured in Queensland and overseas.

Benchmark is inviting expressions of interest (EOI) for all or some of the individual industry applications listed below:

There are 3 distinct business units that share common IP :-

• Transport cameras - Waste collection industry, Concrete agitators, etc; the cameras have AI people detection capacity as well as distance and depth perception,
• Road defect cameras - Road condition asset monitoring, I.e. potholes, signage damage, over-hanging trees etc, as they drive, these cameras continually assess the road conditions, measuring depth, volume, size of potholes, cracks and many other conditions issues,
• Mining cameras - The mining sector is for autonomous vehicles, construction, and heavy industries.

It comes with great IP (potential patents), which incorporates the use of bespoke AI people spatial recognition to ensure public safety around waste collection or other large vehicles.
Currently it has over 1400 units working daily in waste collection trucks, and is now poised to be rolled out nationally and worldwide.

Established in 2014 and with ~$25m invested to date for the design, testing, manufacturing and installations.
