I work full time and have a young family. Due to family illness weren't were able to activate our marketing over Christmas, but relied on our SEO to sell for us. A more accurate picture of sales was FY2023 where we saw AUD $18,707 in revenue.
About the Business
Giddy Vibes is stylish fashion ecommerce business with a fun unique brand and quality pyjamas. The current range is focused on summer sets the whole family can wear, but many of our customers bought them for their partners, in-laws, flatmates, and travelling friends looking to find a way to bring people together and make unforgetable memories. The pyjamas are made from 100% certified organic cotton which was sourced from Melbourne. The digital tech packs made from Australian industry veterans, and the garments were manufactured in Australia. This was expensive, but a way for us to ensure quality in the development stages.
Typical customers are young families of 4 (females aged 25-34) looking for stylish PJs to capture those memories in the early years, 35-44 year old professional women with established jobs and living in high income suburbs across Syd, Melb, Qld and WA, and 45-54 year old women looking to buy family sets for the extended family.
We sell 17 sizes, from newborn to nanny and whilst we had a couple of orders from men, the majority of purchasers were women.
What makes Giddy Vibes unqiue is that our styles relfect the laid back nature of our Australian Christmas and lifestyle. The designs are unique to Giddy Vibes so you wont see them anywhere else.
The styles for women include buttons down the front for those breastfeeding mamas, and the styles for men have been designed so they feel comfortable and confident participating in the matching pyjamas - as that's where the magic happens at home. When everyone joins in the fun.
The materials are lightweight and breathable, and perfect for hot climates. They are also good for those living in a colder climate with central heating, and who don't wear long PJs to bed.

History
The idea was born out of the desire to find breathable and well made matching pyjamas which we couldn't find in market at the time. Cotton On pyjamas are made from a material you can't sleep in and designs we didn't love, and Peter Alexander target couples or young adults alone. Nothing suited an audience like our family of 4 with designs and styles for those in the southern hemisphere. We were happy to pay for the right product - and so were our new customers!
