Mail Plus Richlands/Darra has been operating for 23 years and service over 70 customers daily. We enable our customers to do what they do best, by providing big business services to local, small businesses.
Our loyal customers remain with us for an average of 8 years. This is because of the outstanding level of services we offer.
We provide clearing & delivery services from local post boxes, outgoing mail lodgements and banking, as well as ad-hoc services to a range of customers within our franchised territory of Richlands & Darra. We take away some of the stress from Business Owners, so they can concentrate on their core service offering.
Our business is presently operated by two people working fulltime, the current owner along with one employee who has been working with us for more than 10 years.
As a Mail Plus operator, our day-to-day schedule includes: • Collecting and delivering mail and parcels for businesses and consumers. • Handling Mail Plus shipping products such as Express and Standard delivery parcels. • Clearing and delivering mail from local Post Office bases. • Managing pickups and lodgements of Australia Post items.
Our Head Office manages all finance including debt collection, sales and marketing support and IT.
Marketing support
Marketing is handled by head office though depending on your drive to grow the business your also encouraged to provide contacts and drop in service brochures to prospective customers.
Training provided
Training is available through Mail Plus as well as the current operator.
Skills
Good driving and communication skills are most important as well as time management as there is a daily schedule to keep. Good health is also required though most of the parcels are under 10kg.

It all began when Chris met a courier in an elevator in 1997. Realising there was a niche in the logistics industry picking up and lodging business’ mail, Chris borrowed $10k from his Mum and got cracking.
