About the Business

Our Place Restaurant has been a Yungaburra favourite since 2019 when the current owners rebranded a long-standing venue. It operates five days a week and focuses on a la carte dining, no takeaway or delivery and alcohol sales make up 22% of revenue. A well-equipped kitchen and a small team ensure efficient service, with one owner as head chef and the other managing front-of-house.



Located next to a busy FoodWorks supermarket, the restaurant benefits from strong local support and steady tourist traffic from Cairns and Townsville. It sources fresh produce, dairy and meat from regional suppliers, ensuring quality while supporting local businesses. Operations run smoothly with the Square POS system and Xero for accounting. At the same time, marketing relies on social media, local publications and word-of-mouth.
