Current owner, a baker and highly skilled cake decorater has restored this long standing cake store and has made it a place to talk about! A lot of hard work has gone into modernising the cake designs, improving flavours and creating new yummy treats that attract customers!
The daily basis of the store is selling mud cakes, sponge cakes, cupcakes, slices, and biscuits made in house. Some undecorated cakes are bought in from suppliers but all decorated on site. This makes us unique as customers can speak directly to cake decorators to custom design their cake and we can accomodate requests on the spot. Having an oven on site allows us to take on more orders at short notice.
Custom cakes make up a large proportion of the business with a high rate of returning customers. We have also built a reputation to be trusted to create stunning wedding cakes.
We also make up to 100 coffees per day using a fabulous and reputable coffee brand, with a blend that can only be used by us in our area. We have created a large customer loyalty base by serving quality coffee with skilled baristas that know all things coffee! The coffee machine is on lend from our coffee supplier who regularly services and repairs it at no cost to the business.
We have a team of long standing loyal and trustworthy staff that are extremely knowledgable with the day to day operation of the store. The new owner will not need to be present daily.
Business also receives online sales through our website and we are also operating on Uber Eats (again, alot of returning customers!) and other local businesses purchase from us regularly.
