About the Business
The business is a simple wholesaling and delivery operation delivering of frozen pastry products to bakeries and catering outlets. Currently requiring deliveries on two fixed days per week (Tuesday and Friday). Customer orders are confirmed by text, phone or email on the day before or on the morning of delivery. The day consists of ring arounds and then pickiing up the product from the cold store before contiinuing on with the deliveries. These deliveries are from Beerwah to Pomona.
Supplies are obtained from a key Brisbane based pastry supplier and also some local suppliers including gluten free products. Supplies are delivered to a local cold store and stored there until the owner is ready to pick from the pallets on each delivery day. It is a very simply process.
The only equipment needed is a small frozen box truck (offered with the business). Also a chest freezer (offeres with the business) which is kept at home for any overflow of product in case it is needed.
One day a week is put aside for bookkeeping of the accounts so some experience would be useful but not necessary as it could be easily learnt.
The business is cash flow positive, with most customers paying directly to the bank account and the suppliers on account terms.
