CB has been servicing greater Hobart with the manufacture and installation of fences, gates (including automation), balustrades, handrails, decks and pergolas. We specialise in custom solutions to meet our clients objectives while maintaining compliance and safety.

Our client base includes many ongoing and repeat customers including new residential and commercial clients.

Our current advertising is basic utilising our website, google, Yellow online, Facebook and word of mouth. The business is in a perfect position to grow according to the new owners’ skills and interests.

Our business workflow starts in the office with an enquiry for one of our products or services. Enquiries usually come to the business electronically, phone or walk-ins. Our office provides initial information to clients and gathers the necessary information to make an appointment for our estimator to meet the client onsite to understand the clients requirements and the parameters of the job.. We then prepare a quote for the client and if successful we attend the site to do final measurements and discuss any additional details with the client. We then order products or materials and manufacture/paint the product before installation.
Our products include all types of fences, handrails and balustrades (timber, steel, aluminium, wire and glass). While we provide standard products we pride ourselves in providing custom products for clients when required. We provide aftercare for gates and motors
We have long term loyal and skilled employees and contractors who would like to stay with the business if there is the opportunity.

All the hard work is done with this business with the office, workshop and installations workflows documented and implemented. We have workplace and worksafe policies documented and implemented.

While we no longer keep a lot of stock on hand we do have certain lines of materials for our most popular products. This stock will be purchased on the sale of the business. The business comes with essential tools and additional items can be optionally purchased if required (vehicles and plant).

The business has operated out of a number of locations in Cambridge and Glenorchy and at its peak had premisis in Glenorchy, Blackmans Bay and Middleton including workshops, storage facilities and a showroom.
The current owner has been winding back the business to fit in with his lifestyle and is now ready to move on.
