The business has ‘preferred contractor status’, with very longstanding associations with the company carrying out equipment manufacture.
Product support, including installation and servicing, is carried out by independent contractors or by customers all generally trained by the business, in Victoria, Queensland, Western Australia, South Australia and Tasmania. These arrangements allow the business to handle quite large projects without the burden of large overheads.
The two major areas of activity are namely Metering and Data Acquisition Systems for essential products, and the provision of process engineering consulting and design services for the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries. Their process engineering activities include the provision of their own packaged CIP (clean in place) plants of a rather unique and innovative design. In both these areas they have been very successful, being the only supplier of metering and data acquisition systems for product collection in Australia, and having also sold a large number of their CIP plants to a wide variety of customers over the years.
