The Normanville Surf Life Saving Club, seeks to engage a third-party Caterer to commence operations by December 1, 2025. Catering is a critical service driving member and guest satisfaction, foot traffic, and beverage sales. The offering should align with the Club’s casual, family-friendly character, deliver convenient and value-driven dining, and complement nearby providers while promoting seasonal, local produce where possible, including functions and events. The Caterer will manage all food-only catering services, procure supplies, employ and train staff per Fair Work and Food Standards, and ensure food safety compliance. They will liaise with the Bar Manager for seamless service, manage complaints, maintain a food safety program, and provide evidence of $20M public liability insurance. Monthly KPI reports to the Board are required, with a focus on high-quality, safe, and family-friendly dining and event catering.
Nov–Apr Thu–Sat 5–9pm & Sun 12:30–4pm, plus most Jan nights. May–Oct Fri–Sat 5–9pm.

The Club seeks to engage a third-party to deliver catering services at the Club. The successful applicant will be required to commence catering operations by no later than December 1, 2025.

The Normanville Surf Life Saving Club (‘Club’) is a community club located on the Normanville foreshore of the Fleurieu Peninsula. Managed by a volunteer Board of Directors, the Club operates its clubhouse facilities for the enjoyment of members, guests, and the public. The Club employs a full-time Bar Manager, supported by member volunteers, responsible for the service and sale of beverages and packaged snack foods. Catering for meals during general trading hours, as well as for functions and events, is outsourced to a third-party caterer (‘Caterer’).
The Club will:
• Make available the kitchen area and kitchen equipment for the use of the caterer during the Caterer’s term of engagement, subject to first right provisions in the contract of engagement relating to events and functions.
•Ensure the bar is staffed and operational during all meal services and functions and events.
•Ensure it is licenced to sell beverage alcohol, and its operations are compliant with the Liquor Licencing Act 1997.
•Ensure all public spaces within the Club area are maintained in a clean and orderly condition.
•Ensure all kitchen equipment is maintained in good working order and fit for operational use.
•Ensure access to fundamental utilities such as water, gas, power and telecommunications including wifi, subject to availability of such services by nominated suppliers.
•Arrange the disposal of all general waste and recyclables.
•Direct all inquiries for catering services for events and functions to the Caterer via the Bar Manager.
•Engage in good faith with the Caterer to co-operate on initiatives to increase patronage and demand for catering for the mutual benefit of the Club and Caterer.
