The business is focussed on directly handling the client side of booking talent for a corporate conference or event. The clients are predominantly; corporates and medium size businesses, government departments, local councils, industry associations and Professional Conference Organisers (PCO's).
The product is the talent and you'll have access to about 3,500 speakers, celebrities and entertainers listed on the corporate CRM system to choose from. The talent will be business speakers, specialising in all topic areas, celebrities from TV, radio, film and public life, MC's, comedians, facilitators, sporting personalities and well-known business CEO's and ex politicians.
A number of the talent are exclusively tied to the ICMI franchise business network. The head office franchisor staff handle all the event logistics, contracting, invoicing, insurances, collections and contract administration. They also maintain the corporate website, IT systems, national CRM, social media and email marketing.
As a Managing Consultant it's your business to develop and maintain the client relationships. A collegial relationship exists between the 10 other Managing Consultants in the network that share the Australian marketplace. They constantly interact with each other and offer suggestions when called upon to satisfy client briefs. As a very solid and unique home office based business, there are very few similar businesses. Commissions are earned on all contract bookings and split between ICMI and the business.
