Team includes a General Manager, Student Administration Manager, Student Administration Officer, two full-time trainers, and two contract trainers, supported by strong community and industry networks.
The current CEO, Sally Morris, has made the decision to sell Response Employment and Training in order to dedicate her time fully to her other enterprise, Crest NT. While she has overseen the growth, systems, contracts, and awards that underpin RET’s strong reputation, she recognises that the organisation has far greater growth potential than she can personally manage while operating both businesses. The sale ensures RET can reach its full potential under a dedicated owner.
Response Employment and Training (RET) is an award-winning Registered Training Organisation (RTO) delivering nationally recognised programs across the Northern Territory. Established in 2021 following its separation from Crest NT, RET has grown into a respected provider with a head office in Darwin and a satellite office in Alice Springs, enabling it to serve both urban and very remote communities.
The organisation delivers training in aged care, disability support, community services, mental health, community safety, cleaning operations, leadership, management, and business. Programs are delivered flexibly through classroom learning, workplace-based training, in-community delivery, and virtual platforms.
RET is recognised for its culturally appropriate, learner-centred approach and has been awarded multiple honours, including the NT Training Awards Industry Collaboration Award and the 2024 Australian Training Awards Bronze Award for Innovation in VET.
The business holds contracts such as User Choice, Skilling Pathways, and regional council agreements, and is listed on the Local Buy Register. With an experienced team, proven systems, and compliance aligned with the 2025 Standards for RTOs, RET is well positioned to expand further into new programs, remote employment initiatives, and international markets.
Expressions of Interest close at 4.00pm ACST on Thursday, 6 November 2025. This sale will be conducted in two stages, beginning with non-binding offers, followed by shortlisted parties being invited to participate in supervised site visits and due diligence before best and final offers are sought.
