About the Business

Ausblok runs a Columbia computer controlled 3 block machine producing high quality masonry products for supply across the whole NT. The company supplies to approximately 40% of the market with long established relationships over the last 20 years. Our products meet or exceed Australian standards and are used in all aspects of constrution.
The main sectors include remote Indigenous housing, residential housing, commercial building and defence work.
Ausblok has recently tendered the Darwin Shiplift for the supply of over 100000 m2 of industrial paving with a decision expected in the near future.
With a solid track record in a stable and secure market that is only getting bigger, the recent Federal Govt announcement of $4 billion to be spent on remote Indigenous housing over the next 10 years, ensures production demands into the future.
This remote spend combined with the expansion in the oil and gas sectors will only grow the Darwin and remote housing market.
This businees is ideally suited to grow with the market over the next decade and beyond while providing excellent cash flow and potential from day 1.

History

The company was formed 20 years ago and was originally the Humes plant in Darwin prior to being purchased by Peter Jarvis and Clayton Cox. Peter and Clayton ran the business for 10 years prior to selling to the current owners in 2015.
Although the block plant is over 25 years old it is continually updated with new components and is still considered a current machine across the world.
