About the Business

The IP, of this offering, established by a former entrepreneurial Pharmacist, over a 20 year period, previously owned 20 pharmacies nationally. The business ceased trading in July 2024 and for health reasons the IP is now available for immediate sale. Medical or Pharmaceutical qualifications are not required to Own or Operate this very profitable business catering to the “luxury”
end of the detox/rehabilitation sector of the health care industry used by senior business executives, high public profile individuals, upwardly mobile hard working managers, overworked professionals, well heeled homemakers, or young at heart retirees and others looking to discreetly ‘break’ their habit and get off the ever decreasing spiral of alcohol and/or drug dependency. With operations commences in 2022 the assets to be sold with this offering include Goodwill, Google Ranking, Informative Website, Trademarks and Regulatory Certifications (including Govt Accreditation by Services Australia) to parties who have a genuine interest in this growing area of patient care. Most patient
leads come from the business website or patient referrals with up to 40 potential new patient encounters per week. The Practice was a multi modal holistic practice and used different modalities to unlock aspects that clients can relate to in their discovery journey to sobriety/abstinence. It is scalable and would suit the evolution to a franchising model for expansion
interstate around Australia and possibly overseas into areas such as New Zealand or Bali. Australian Government statistics in 2022 demonstrated that 5.2 Million adult Australians exceed the health damaging effects of alcohol consuming more than 10 standard drinks in the previous week and/or 5 or more standard drinks on any day at least monthly in the last 12 months. In 2022/23, 64% of Australians supported mandatory drug checking at designated workplaces (up from 57% in 2019) A high number of Australians also supported referrals to a treatment or education program for those found with illicit drugs for personal use, instead of a criminal response. “Health-based approaches to drug use benefit the whole of community by helping to reduce drug-related deaths and disease, reduce stigma and problematic drug use, and we see more people reaching out for help and support” Dr Lalor, from the Alcohol & Drug Foundation concluded.
STRICT CONFIDENTIALITY and SAME DAY ADMITTANCE for patients in urgent need are the keystone of services that were
offered to patients. Unlike some other facilities, patient counselling services are ‘bespoke’ and occurred
