About the Business
ThermoAir began as a sole trader business in 1996 and transitioned to a Pty Ltd company in 2017, operated by private company Ryga Pty Ltd. The company is owned by the two shareholders, Neville Brian Karger & Joanne Maree Karger.
Neville Karger is the Managing Director of the company and is a Refrigeration Tradesperson. He is the holder of the Electrical Contactors License for the company and has worked in the refrigeration & air conditioning industry for over 30 years.
Joanne Karger is the Office Manager for the company and has a background in office administration and real estate sales.

ThermoAir provides trade services for domestic and commercial air conditioning installations, breakdown services and routine maintenance and electrical maintenance to domestic and light commercial customers.
Three service vehicles are used to provide on site services for reactive and routine maintenance.
ThermoAir operates in the HVAC (Heating Ventilation & Air Conditioning) industry and provides services to a broad range of clients. There are presently three businesses in Esperance as competitors, however, none of these provide a diverse range of services as ThermoAir. They are purely refrigeration & air conditioning contractors, where ThermoAir holds an Electrical Contractors licence that allows the business to carry out its own electrical work associated with the primary industry (HVAC). These other businesses must either engage an electrical contractor to carry out this work or require the client to organize their own electrical contractor.
Presently there is a great demand for electrical contractors in Esperance, so the opportunity exists for expansion into more electrical based work. Presently the majority of ThermoAir's electrical work is for WA Department of Housing via a Service Agreement with a Head Contractor and two Real Estate companies.
History
ThermoAir was created in 1996 to service the refrigeration and commercial air conditioning requirements for the Esperance and surrounding districts when an opportunity for a dedicated and reliable service provider was identified by customer demand. As air conditioning equipment became more popular and ultimately cheaper to the consumer, the demand for the supply and installation of air conditioning equipment to the domestic market increased. A demand for electrical work saw ThermoAir move into the electrical contracting field in 2018.
