Hours

This company is the owner's dream career - started from scratch and self taught every aspect along the way since 2011. Deteriorating health from early 2024 impacted her ability to work full-time, and now part-time is not feasible. Femme came out of passion for colour and a lot of hard, long hours. It's sad for us to sell, but the right person will continue to make Femme flourish. • Artisan brands are handmade lines, and we have exclusive Australian distribution with several of our brands meaning low-to-no competition in Australian market. Our gross sales usually variate between $350 - $500k p/a depending on economic changes etc.
• Over a decade of excellent good-faith working relationships with our brands; and a solid 14-year foundation with Femme known in the industry as a company with upstanding customer service, well-packaged parcels by hand with care, excellent customer-brand interaction through socials, and taking on feedback to better our company and services.
• DHL approved account to export dangerous goods overseas. We have been expanding by offering a ‘forwarding’ service for other brands that can’t obtain a DG account. DG transport can be a lucrative industry if pursued.
• Our own line of nail polish, cosmetics, and bath/body products are tested and perform exceptionally well. Sale includes all 14 years of recipes for our cosmetics, eye primer, nail polish shades, wax melts, and a massive range of popular from-scratch bath and body products which we retailed for 2 years under branding Obscurus.
• Our industry contacts enable importing consolidated brand stock at low value which a) keeps expenses low as possible and b) makes available to consumers brands that don’t ship overseas.
• All products are EU and AU cosmetic compliant along with having FDA-approved ingredients. No products have ingredients that are unethically sourced or tested on animals. 99% are vegan-friendly (exception Beeswax and Carmine in a handful of cosmetics and fragrance).
• Product range is perfect for market stalls, gift-bag marketing campaigns, collaborations with other brands we carry, and commission-based offerings at handmade-style retail outlets.

History
Established in 2011 by the sole owner who has a passion for colour and creativity - and a challenge. Started with duochrome eyeshadows and quickly expanded the cosmetics range. Then came nail polish (it's hard to say no to mixing glitter all day!). With a market gap for overseas indie brands unable to ship to Aussies, we quickly expanded to distribution. We've had 14 fun and colourful years creating new product shades, trying new formulations, networking and making friends with other artisans. The industry is small but full of wonderful people.
